I took these shots from a Ferry arriving from Sausalito, so no way to use a long exposure or even be really stabilized, those kind of pictures taken from Alcatraz Island should be amazing! An Alcatraz night tour might be the right opportunity.

 

Still discovering new places in the Bay Area, today was the Crystal Springs Reservoirs created by the San Andrea fault. Mostly flat, perfect to start a new year.

4h 30min from Yosemite Valley to the top. 14 miles total, one step after another, we made it!

We had great time this weekend celebrating our new house with friend, it was awesome to see the backyard full of life and people enjoying home made food and Sangria, let's do it again :-)

Here are some pictures of the Memorial Day Ride last weekend. We were about 50 happy bikers riding from San Jose to Santa Barbara, I did 308 miles (over the 370 miles total) and I had to skip one leg the first day - I felt like I can't do more ... :-/ and drive one of the van the second day. This event was for me the opportunity to meet brilliant, inspirational (and fast ...) people, and to do my first century bike ride (100 miles) on the fourth day! :-)

We followed the inland road but next year it's supposed to be the coastal road, I'm really looking forward to do it again!
