Pretty nice view on the San Jose suburb, take off from San Jose going to Carefree in Arizona for our annual Customer Advisory Council. 

Today I did a 42 miles bike ride with 3,245 ft elevation gain in the Cupertino mountain, the view on the Valley from the Skyline bld is amazing and far better from a bike than from a car, climbing hills make you appreciate it :-)  Thanks to my friend Bob, you have been an awesome guide!

Shoreline is a great place to find inspirations, this allow your mind to wander after a working day, allow distractions and you just have to look up to see the Googleplex and remember that good ideas can actually change the world.

A few pictures from a fun bike ride in the Bay area, we took the Caltrain from Mountain View to San Francisco, reached Larkspur by ferry then bike 37 miles to go back to SF via Sausalito and the Golden Gate Bridge. It was a pretty nice way to enjoy with good friends the city, the bay and the changing weather :-)

There are a lot of IT companies in my neighborhood but there is also the NASA and the SETI Institute and today was an open day at the SETI. It was the opportunity to meet the father of SETI, Dr. Frank Drake and author of the Drake Equation for estimating the number of possible civilizations in the galaxy. It was amazing to meet people that spend their days to hunt evidence of life on Mars or Europa and as alien hunter, Seth Shostak said, this is not science fiction, "our grandkids will live in space”... I will add "to flee the world or to save it...". Pandora, we are coming ! :-)

Clear sky pictures from the 17 miles scenic road through Pacific Grove going from Monterey to Carmel-by-See. An exclusive road mixing of beach, golf green, cliffs, trees and luxury houses, a must seen place in California.

I did my first race ever there (5K / 22min and 40s) with the Dolphin South End Runners, running in a such beautiful place is very inspiriting, I love it.

Video of my first skydiving at 15,000 feet up (60 second free fall) with 1800funjump.com in Hollister, CA. I had such an amazing experience and it was completely breathtaking, of course I really want to do it again :-0
